Narcissus

Narcissus (2020-21) draws inspiration from Greek mythology and was created during a time shadowed by environmental turmoil and a global health crisis. This series comprises a selection of digital collages, each blending two self-created images: a portrait and a botanical still life. Through intricate digital manipulation, these images intertwine, overlay, and merge elements of the human form with nature, symbolizing a moment of metamorphosis and reconnection.

Embedded within these collages is an exploration—an introspective journey into our relationship with nature, contemplating humanity's impact on our planet and the complex psychological and societal dimensions entwined within. Serving as a bridge between reality and belief, it symbolizes our preoccupation with self at the expense of our inherent connection to nature's order. Through these visuals, the series aims to prompt introspection and  encourage discourse on the need to restore harmony between humanity and the environment
